"RING" CASSEGRAIN FEED SYSTEMS
Model 9622-800 uses two interlaced sets of six-element helix arrays. One set operates from 950 - 1050 MHz and the other from 1535 - 1645 MHz. Both are right-hand circular polarized. It mounts to Scientific-Atlanta Series 8224 C-band Cassegrain feed in a 7M SCTS Reflector.
Model 9534-850 uses a single eight-element helix array. It operates in the 2.0 GHz band with right-hand circular polarization. Mounting provisions interface with a 6.25 inch diameter corrugated X-band Cassegrain feed. The ring array can be fed from a monopulse comparator if required. The combination of the S-band ring feed and X-band Cassegrain feed in a 5 meter shaped reflector yields a highly efficient antenna for S/X-band earth imagery applications with S-band autotracking.
Model 8518-800-3 is identical to Model 9622-800 except it mates to a Scientific-Atlanta Servo 8225 C-band feed and is used on an 11M reflector. Model 9819-800 mounts in a TIW 10.5M reflector.
