HIGH GAIN / DUAL POLARIZATION ARRAYS

L/S-BANDS:

L/S-Band arrays use crossed dipoles (turnstile elements) in a cup reflector as radiating elements.

These innovative, lightweight arrays are fed from a low loss stripline power combiner resulting in high aperture efficiency.

The antennas offer very broadband performance and are dual linear polarized. They can be equipped with an optional quadrature hybrid to achieve dual circular polarization, since the two RF ports have good phase tracking performance.

The antennas are fully sealed. They may be interconnected to form larger panel arrays for higher gain requirements.

C-BAND:

C-Band dipole arrays fed from folded waveguide power combiners are available in C-band. They have excellent aperture efficiency due to the very low loss in the waveguide combiner. The folded waveguide junctions, which are a proprietary development of Seavey Engineering, lead to a relatively thin and lightweight structure.

All antennas in this product series have Normal Beam patterns. The main beam is accurately perpendicular (normal) to the face of the array and to the rear mounting surface. They have zero beam squint with frequency and are true-time-delay arrays.
