Asymmetrical-beamwidth, Constant-beamwidth and Shaped-beam Horns
Horns can have asymmetrical beamwidths and controlled radiation characteristics. Short horns with an E-plane amplitude taper exhibit near-constant beamwidths over large frequency ranges. These find use in direction-finding systems where a constant crossover level is desired.
