20/30 GHZ ANTENNAS
When the new Ka-band satellites are launched Seavey Engineering will be ready with proven VSAT antenna products.
Two sizes of VSAT antennas are now available. Both meet all FCC 25.209 sidelobe requirements. They have highly efficient scalar feed systems which incorporate a sealed Outdoor Unit (ODU) electronics enclosure measuring 8.5 by 4.5 by 3 inches. To adjust polarization, the feed/ODU is rotatable in a calibrated yoke.
The offset parabolic reflectors are highly accurate and are attached to a very robust, rigid AZ/EL pole mount.
RF Ports are WR-42 and WR-28 waveguide. Polarization is orthogonal linear and efficiency is better than 65%. Frequency Range is 19.2 - 20.2 GHz (receive) and 29.0 - 30.0 GHz (transmit).
Model ESA-2030-2 - Scalar Feedhorn For small-aperture 20/30 GHz reflectors. Orthogonal linear polarized, 25 dB isolation, WR-42 and WR-28.
Model AO28-2030 - 0.7-meter VSAT Offset Reflector Midband gains are 41.4 and 45.6 dBi. Beamwidths are 1.5 and 0.92 degrees. On-axis cross-polarization is better than 23 dB. |
Model 9676-800 Calibrated Horn Antenna This horn is useful when performing systems tests in the 20/30 GHz frequency range. It consists of a pyramidal horn and a dual band OMT with WR-42 and WR-28 RF ports. Gain ranges from 16 to 20 dBi. Isolation is better than 25 dB and VSWR is better than 1.4. Half-power beamwidths range from 25 to 8 degrees. The horn is 6.6 inches long with a 1.5 inch aperture and it features a sealed aperture window. |

Model AO72-2030 - 1.8-meter VSAT Offset Reflector Midband gains are 49.3 and 52.8 dBi. Beamwidths are 0.57 and 0.44 degrees. On-axis cross-polarization is better than 31 dB. |
Model 9828-825 - LEO User Equipment Tracking Antenna This low-cost innovative antenna tracks Low-Earth Orbiting satellites in 20/30 GHz LEO constellations. Frequency is 18.7 - 19.2 and 28.6 - 29.1 GHz with dual circular polarization. Two passively-scanned high gain reflectors with fixed feed systems provide for continuous and reliable coverage above 25° elevation. This antenna includes the reflector/feed pair, polarization switch, antenna motion control unit and sandwich radome. A data sheet is available. Patents are pending. |
