LINEAR POLARIZATION


Omni antennas have uniform radiation coverage in azimuth. Elevation patterns can be tilted or shaped for null filling. They are used in a wide variety of applications including communications base stations, Electronic News Gathering, Microwave point-to-Multipoint Distribution and radar systems.

This section describes linear polarized omnis, including omnis for airborne use, circular polarized omnis for mobile satellite communications and other circular polarized omnis.
