BROADBAND


Dual-ridged waveguide horns operate over substantial frequency bandwidths. They are a good choice for antenna feeds requiring bandwidths exceeding those of standard rectangular waveguides.

The following standard products have excellent radiation pattern shaping, low cross-polarization, and good impedance match. Those designated for feed use have closely controlled phase centers. All horns feature sealed construction with aperture windows or protected feed areas.

Quad-ridged feeds are useful when orthogonal polarizations are required over greater bandwidths than can be provided by rectangular waveguide or turnstile type feeds. Octave bandwidths are readily achieved. Seavey Engineering quad-ridged feeds have closely controlled phase centers for good focusing in parabolic reflectors.

All feeds are fully sealed with aperture windows or have protected feed areas. They have two isolated phase-matched RF ports and can handle substantial RF power levels.

OPTIONS:
  • All QRA-series feeds can be delivered with orthogonal circular polarization with the addition of a quadrature hybrid and a pair of phase-matched cables. Isolation is 20 dB, minimum.
NOTE:
  • The two RF ports are Type N Jacks except for Model Numbers ending in "S" which are SMA Jacks.
